CLINICAL MEDICINE (6 years)

Program Introduction
This program aims to produce graduates who are knowledgeable, competent and understand the basic concept of basic medicine and clinical medicine as well as prepared to practice medicine under supervision as interns. Students are provided international standard of training in all aspects of Surgical and Medical studies related to diagnosis, treatment and management. Courses in the major introduce students to practice of medicine in relation to the care of patients. Students learn to integrate the important knowledge gained during lectures and laboratory experiments in managing multiple health conditions without fear in this world of growing challenge to health care professionals. Students should be able to correctly diagnose, treat and manage common diseases. We are training the next generation of physicians and physician-scientists, answering basic scientific questions that lead to medical innovations and bringing the best medical care to bear for our patients.

Systematic Anatomy, Histology, Embryology, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathogenic Biology, Medical Immunology, Pathologic Anatomy, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Diagnostics, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Gynemetrics, Pediatrics.

Degree Awarded

Students who has completed all the required courses and passed all the examinations will be allowed to graduate. Students who meet the requirement of Degree Awarding Committee will be awarded the degree of Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.

Career Prospects
At the end of the program, all graduates are required to undergo one-year internship in the hospitals before they can practice as the qualified doctors. Completion of the internship will open the door of multitude of career options which including: hospital doctors, clinical teachers in the universities or colleges, researcher and server in the medical institute, and health administrator.
